Oh man!!! I know exactly what you are going through!! My daughter has been on medicine that tastes awful as well!! We tried everything as well to get her to take it. Eventually we had to call the doctor to ask if there is any thing else we can give her instead! I'm not sure if there is anything else your son can take. But if he's old enough maybe just tell him how important it is that he takes it. I really have no other advise!! Soo sorry! I know how frustrating being in your position can be!! Hang in there!! If you have to call your doctor for advise!!

Ask your ped.office or pharmacist to give you some chocolate concentrate or extract that is made especially for medicine. It takes a miniscule amount and it is CHOCOLATE all the way. I did that when my daughter was on prednisone liquid which tastes horrible. She loved it. They just gave me an oral syringe it and told me to keep it in the fridge and use it when I dosed her.
