What natural supplements have helped you with various health issues?

I started using 5-HTP for depression and headaches few weeks ago and it's helping quite a bit. My doctor started me on an anti-depressant but it was giving me terrible headaches (worse than the ones I already had) after just 3 days of taking it so I looked online to see what other people were going through and I found a lot I didn't like, so I decided to look into a natural approach I found on a forum about the withdrawals that people were going through while trying to stop taking the anti-depressant my doctor had just given me samples of! So I thought I might start something and people could suggest some natural approaches that have helped them and we might help some people who are having a heck of a time with medication or just not wanting to take medication and living with the problem. If anyone wants more info on the 5-HTP just ask and I'll give you more info about it. I've read quite a bit about it. It's supposed to help with a lot of things including giving you better quality sleep without making you drowsy the next day, (as long as you don't take too much of it at once in my experience) depression, persistent and recurring pain, (including fibromyalgia) headaches, (over time) and can help you feel full faster to help with weight loss, just to mention some that stick out most in my mind. It's all about increasing your serotonin levels.

Also, while I was trying to find an online store with some good prices on 5-HTP I stumbled across www.iherb.com. They have great prices, (I always shop around and they always seem to have the cheapest prices so far) quality products & great brands. Anyway, when I made my first order they gave me a code to give out to save other people $5 off their first purchase there. Just enter the code ROV432 during the checkout process. If your into natural supplementation, iherb is worth checking out.

I like the natural approach myself. Olive leaf is good natural antibotic. You can get it in a liquid form (pure)that you mix with juice or water. Feverfew is also said to be good for migraines. I have not taken it myself, but have an aunt that does, and says that it works. I also have taken natural suplements for hotflashes and it has worked great. I am always looking for other natural meds. Thanks for the link!

I have tried a number of things and till resently I thought I was going a little crazy my body since I was little was like a time bomb. If something was going to happen it did flu, depression, having to preemie babies, not being able to get the baby weight off. I came across MonaVie it has not only helped my with my issues but has helped my whole family my two year old daughter has IBS, Husband has anxiety, joint pains, etc. We have all been blessed with this porduct. It is a natural Fruit juice so need to ask your doctor if you can take it. Not only have we gotten Healthier but I have lost some of that baby weight and make money feeling it and sharing it with others.
