When My hubby and I decided to try for a baby we only tired ONCE. Then we decided we weren't ready. Two weeks later, we found out we were pregnant. I took the test at 4 am right before my hubby was to start getting ready for work. I woke him up and showed him the reading said "pregnant". He said he already knew in his heart I was and rolled over and WENT BACK TO SLEEP!!! I CRIED I was sooooo scared. I think I cried my whole pregnancy. I was rarely excited. Just more nervous and frightened then i could have ever imagined. Today all that worry seems silly. My daughter is my greatest joy and I couldn't imagine our lives without her!
I was 17, a senior in high school, and my mom had recently been diagnosed with lung and brain cancer. She passed away 2 weeks after I told her I was pregnant. :(
My response was total shock since I had been trying for over 5 years and basically had given up. We then decided to adopt and 5 months after we got her, we had another one on the way.
We had been trying for several months and I was counting down the days to find out if I was pregnant. When I finally peed on the stick there was barely a line visible to say I was but I was so excited I called my doctor and demanded a blood test! I couldn't wait, I needed to know. I was pregnant and it was one the happiest days of my life! My husband and I were ecstatic. We now have a beautiful 22 month old girl and another on the way!
i said "oh crap! what am i gonna do!". after the panic was over and i relaxed, i called my fiance to give him the news. he was really happy and that helped ease my fears.
My husband talked me into trying, two weeks later I changed my mind and wanted to wait a year. It was too late - I was already pregnant! When I took the test I said "NO WAY" - total shock and the very best thing that had ever happened to me!
I swore I wasn't pregnant, because it kept feeling like I was going to get my period (you know that "feel" in the nether regions). I remember actually peeing on the stick in the bathtub, thinking I might pee on the floor of our tiny bathroom (how many times have I had to pee on something for practice, really?), and immediately the plus sign appeared. I thought it must be a mistake, so I tried the other 2 in the pack and they both were positive. We had been trying, so I didn't think it was real.
I hid it inside an envelope with a bill and gave it to my husband, saying that we would have a pretty big debt to pay soon (I couldn't think of anything clever). I couldn't wait to tell my family, which happened immediately after.
Well my looks arn't so pretty from the outside but my insides are pretty, loving and a caring mother of two girls and also caring for my elderly parents. This would at least help me feel pretty when i go out. thank you Gail
Last spring we signed our boy and girl up for baseball. It was a hectic schedule but a wonderful experience. My husband has really grown as a father since he decided to help out with the teams. And he and I got a lot of practice in tag team parent...
How can anyone possibly pick just one favorite holiday memory? I guess my favorite Christmas, as a girl, was the year my two Grandmas teamed up to get me the cowgirl outfit. One Grandma made the fringed skirt and vest. The other bought me the hat,...

Hi I am new to this group and I although not a professional, I love taking pictures . Photos in my home taken by me have inspired envy from other moms, so I might be pretty good. I would love to be inspired here and even inspire if possible.
