Is it just us or is proposing to your teen girlfriend at Chili's when you daughter is missing a little messed up? Could they be running down the altar so he won't have to testify against his wife, who was reported to be sleeping next to Haleigh when she disappeared?

It's definitely fishy. And they are getting married so the the father wont be eligible to testify against the mother? It looks really bad. But I guess trailers can skew my perception of a situation.

I don't think their marriage had anything to do with the child's disappearance but I do feel it has something to do with the lifestyle of the father. And I'm betting he and his family feel that him being married to the live-in "child" girlfriend makes his chances of the looming child custody battle more in his favor. I know there is so much more to that young girls story than she's telling.

the entire story of this family and the circumstances of haleigh's disappearance is insettlingly odd. the new bride is a mere child herself, and the new groom is probably thinking that y marrying her he'll increase his chances in the custody battle going on with the mother. i would bet that he has the support of his entire family and hers in this. haleigh should be the most important thing on their minds right now.
