Real Stories. Real Advice. Real Moms.

Hi everyone, Kathy Sawers here...

what keeps you up at night, all you single mothers like myself ..
is it wondering were your going to get the money to pay next months bills ? is it wishing you could buy all the "new" toys for your children ? is it figuring out how to pay your past debt ? how to earn more income ?

whatever it is that keeps YOU up at night are you ready to change it ?
what can you change today ?
what demand can you make of yourself today that will set in motion your new financial freedom?

whatever it takes I will change
Hugs and gratitude
Kathy

Hi Kathy! There is A LOT of things keeping me up at night! We are waiting to see if my husband's unemployment will be reinstated. Also, my hours were cut at my job. However, God has blessed me (This week) & my hours have just picked back up! Our washer quit working. We are waiting to see if we loose the unemployment fight, then they will take our tax return. Our landlord is loosing patience etc. I'm currently looking for another part time or a full time job. I have sent resumes, no bites yet. Once we are back on our feet, I plan on saving again for a "rainy day" or just incase after we get another washer & the dryer we now have dies. Lol-God Bless! Tracy

Hi Tracy,

Sorry that it took me soooo long to reply..... out of town....
hope you have been well...
what I would like to say and ask you is
what can you change today that would change your financial situation ?
who could you call ?
I like to think that if we ask we shall receive..... I ask the universe all the time...
I would like to give you a tool that I use every morning.. I ask myself
what can I ADD to my life that would bring me more JOY and MONEY?
just by asking that question I instantly get a smile on my face...
try it... you have nothing to lose

hugs and gratitude

Hi Patty,

sorry it took me sooo long to reply.... I was out of town ...

Good on YOU....

I am also a person who asks alot of questions....
you cannot have a conversation without questions....
If you desire to change anything in your life.... it requires QUESTIONS....

I enjoy the fact that YOU know that the only person that YOU require is YOU...
what would it take for you to truly believe that ?

if you were nurturing YOU what would YOU choose ?
if you were choosing for YOU who would YOU be ?
what would that look like ?

hugs and gratitude
Kathy

I am not single but I give you much credit for your honesty and courage. I am now in my early 50;s , children grown and on their own but I have several friends either divorced or widowed. I watch their trials and triumphs but what I am learning for myself are the following. I am beginning to ask questions about HOW TO;s as I desire to become more of a fix it person. Learn how to be more independent and able to handle house problems etc. That will flow out into financial too. My husband laughed the other day as he told me I would have a hard time on my own as I;m quite dependent on him. He is right , to a certain degree and that;s why I;m stepping out of the box, but I am much more resilient than he knows.
Because what I have is a deep faith and trust that no matter what comes my way I will find the guidance I need to assist me. I am indeed in charge of my own destiny and I have the resources and support available.
We women are strong human beings and we;re not afraid to ask even if it;s for directions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
