Hi Kathy! There is A LOT of things keeping me up at night! We are waiting to see if my husband's unemployment will be reinstated. Also, my hours were cut at my job. However, God has blessed me (This week) & my hours have just picked back up! Our washer quit working. We are waiting to see if we loose the unemployment fight, then they will take our tax return. Our landlord is loosing patience etc. I'm currently looking for another part time or a full time job. I have sent resumes, no bites yet. Once we are back on our feet, I plan on saving again for a "rainy day" or just incase after we get another washer & the dryer we now have dies. Lol-God Bless! Tracy
I am not single but I give you much credit for your honesty and courage. I am now in my early 50;s , children grown and on their own but I have several friends either divorced or widowed. I watch their trials and triumphs but what I am learning for myself are the following. I am beginning to ask questions about HOW TO;s as I desire to become more of a fix it person. Learn how to be more independent and able to handle house problems etc. That will flow out into financial too. My husband laughed the other day as he told me I would have a hard time on my own as I;m quite dependent on him. He is right , to a certain degree and that;s why I;m stepping out of the box, but I am much more resilient than he knows.
Because what I have is a deep faith and trust that no matter what comes my way I will find the guidance I need to assist me. I am indeed in charge of my own destiny and I have the resources and support available.
We women are strong human beings and we;re not afraid to ask even if it;s for directions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
