Do you think its too early for Christmas carols in the stores?

Yes I think it is way too early for Christmas carols!!! Holly cow!!! Maybe in a couple more weeks!!! I was in retail for thirteen years! That's the way it was Halloween stock put away out comes Christmas stock!!! Just the way retail is!!! It is crazy I admit!!! Well "Merry Christmas to every one"!!! Sorry had to say it!!! LOL!!!!

I live with a Christmas Addict. This seriously too early and he knows it. His job has put a limit on when he can start playing his Christmas music until after Halloween. Around here, the music can't come out until after Thanksgiving.

I can see the point of bringing it out now. We're more likely to "get ahead of the rush" if we're reminded to start purchasing decorations and such now.

But I'm decorated for Thanksgiving now and the Christmas stuff won't come out until after Thanksgiving.

Yes! It's way too early. I was in my local walmart before Halloween, & they already have Christmas trees & decorations in there. My Mom paid her cc bill & asked when was the Easter stuff coming? LOL.

I think it's too early. I just decorated for Thanksgiving too. Let's eat turkey before we start with the Christmas carols.

As a 17 year retail veteran I totally agree. The people you should feel sorry for are the retail workers. You can leave the store but they are subjected to this music for almost 3 months and it doesn't end until after the New Year in some stores. You can only hear so many renditions of every Christmas carol before you start thinking of ways to break the sound system in the store!

I understand that there might be like Christmas themed gifts and "early bird" stuff coming out already, but Christmas Carols? yeah they should at least wait till the week of Thanksgiving.

I AGREE!! To early!! I know someone who has already put thier tree up, that's just crazy! I love Christmas time and we deck the place out but not until we have our Thanks!!

I absolutely think it is too early. Halloween was virtually run out of town this year and I can barely see Thanksgiving due to Christmas taking over.
