Human Body Detective Series

As a naturopathic doctor and a mother, I continually search for books and resources that provide healthy eating tips and encourages parents to make healthy food choices for kids, and more importantly, encourage kids to make healthy food and lifestyle choices for themselves. I discovered there were very few books out there promoting kids’ health in a fun way, and none designed to teach kids about health by focusing on the specific body systems. This led me to create and write educational adventure stories that have evolved into the Activity Workbook and Audio CD Human Body Detective series.

Human Body Detectives (HBD) is a series of educational adventure stories where two young “Human Body Detectives,” Merrin and Pearl, magically enter different systems in the body to solve a health mystery. Through action packed fiction stories, listeners learn how the various systems work and what foods best fuel that system.

This is what I am promoting to change the health of our country.
