Totally agree- when I first hear the tabs call it a "midlife crisis," I thought, "Um... he's 32, not exactly midlife!" He got married very young (22) and had kids very young. He never really had a chance to party and date around in his 20s.

He is sooooooooooo having a mid-life crisis and he very well knows it. (Jon does) It's so evident.

he will regret this later on in life. what an embarrassment to his kids. they should be his first priority - not his life and what he needs. if he had some faith and was really looking out for the best possible life for his kids, he would make his marriage work. he just does not want to. shame on him.

i think, as sad as it sounds, that they just married too young, and the wrong people. at 32, it's not midlife.

Jon is not having a midlife crisis. He's a young guy with 8 kids, a camera in his face and a pretty bossy wife responding to pressure. I don't agree with his current actions, but I can understand the foundation of any frustration he may be feeling.

I had my first child at 21, got married the following year and had another kid at 23. The first five years have been hard. We're in a sweet spot right now, but that is life, an ebb and flow. Jon needs to grow up. Then he can have a mid-life crisis.

if its not a mid life thing then what is it? or maybe hes just showing his true colors? shame on him either way

The article seems accurate to me. He is a terribly irresponsible man. For him to abandon the domicle is inexcusable and should be a warning to anyone to avoid him. Yes, his wife was controlling but who would not be with that many kids?

Gotta agree with ya dogkiller. His children have all this foolishness on TV to see. Nice! If he doesn't want to be married fine, but be a positive light always for your children. .

He just seems like a sleeze! Do these people really care about the children?

I think this is an example of the pendulum swinging all the way to the other side. I stopped watching the show thanks to Kate's horribleness. I couldn't imagine anyone putting up with anyone that nasty. Sadly, I was correct since neither could Jon. I think Jon is attempting to shed the 'whipped' boy image he had in the show. Sadly, he needs to realize that it is not about him or Kate, but about what is happening with the 8 kids. Would I have stayed married to Kate if I was him? Heck no!!!! But, this is where I know I'm not a guy, I wouldn't have made a show of dating other women either to prove my manhood. Hopefully for the children sake, the pendulum will come back to the middle and they will find some balance.

since when is 32 old enough for a mid-life crisis anyway? sheesh!

He wants his cake and eat it too. He now has freedom away from the wife and the children when he wants. He should have not had all those children if he couldn't handle it. He got married too young and being in the public eye does not help. He needs to grow up before he can have a mid life crisis. I hope they do whats best for the children. Stick it out for the sake of the family. I wish them well and hope for the best for them all.

I am considered a "Pretty Woman" also. That is one of the reasons I would love to win this perfume, Pretty Woman. We would make a dynamic duo.

My family thinks that this is one of the greatest movies, ever made. We have seen it over and over, and still recommend it as a classic.

You guessed it correctly. My husband is a big fan of Twilight. He read the book, saw the movie and ate the popcorn. Charles did it all, and did it all, without exception.

I would really like this,I'm unable to work and my husband lost his job, guess it goes on the want list, not on a need list.
