I hope they patch it up, Kate needs to find new respect for him. He took a lot in the beginning.

He might be in a mid-life crisis but I think that he's just trying to find happiness with someone, perhaps anyone available, after Kate.

you know don't use marrying young as a excuse HE chose this and also are you forgetting they also CHOSE to have babies. So i think he;s using this as a excuse to whore around. plain and simple.

I don't think he is having a mid life crisis. He is only 34. I thought men have a mid life crisis at age 50. I think it is because Kate is so bossy and controlling that he is acting the way he is. I am saddened, however, that they didn't go for marriage counseling. My parents divorced when I was about 8. Divorce is a sad thing for children.. I think they both need a personality change.. Just my two cents.

I do agree. Jon had the look of the proverbial deer in the headllights. On one show when they sat together he said he did not like being on camera all the time and Kate said she did. That was a telling moment,. Kate may be organized but she is a shrew. She obviously is in love with the attention. They also revealed that, after they had the twins, Jon was happy but Kate wanted more. She pushed for it, and we know the result. Jon is a gentle, easy-going guy and she domnated and humiliated him. Saw enough on film to know that was the status quo without cameras, probably even more so,. Both were very ;young when they married. Kate, by the way, is older than Jon. They have both lived well, thanks to the show. How long is that show going to last? The story lost its luster. The younger kids starts to school, and Kate becomes the focus. What happens when the money dries up? Kate has lots of help now, and a great house. Oh, the future doesn't look so rosy. How very sad for the kids. Just can't blame Jon very much, This dating thing didn't start that far back. Remember, he was kicked out of the house. I have very little sympathy for Kate.

I think this is an example of the pendulum swinging all the way to the other side. I stopped watching the show thanks to Kate's horribleness. I couldn't imagine anyone putting up with anyone that nasty. Sadly, I was correct since neither could Jon. I think Jon is attempting to shed the 'whipped' boy image he had in the show. Sadly, he needs to realize that it is not about him or Kate, but about what is happening with the 8 kids. Would I have stayed married to Kate if I was him? Heck no!!!! But, this is where I know I'm not a guy, I wouldn't have made a show of dating other women either to prove my manhood. Hopefully for the children sake, the pendulum will come back to the middle and they will find some balance.

I was NOT Jon's idea to have ALL THOSE CHILDREN. Kate was the one who pushed for more after the twins and that was admitted. He was very young for all that and a wife who brow beat him constantly. She is in love with the lime light. Jon was shoved to the back burner as far as she was concerned, He did not measure up to what her idea was, which was to be just like her, a first class emasculating shrew.

At first I watched the show, then when they really started making the money, they both changed and started going in different directions and lost focus on family and working things out. Kate seems greedy and John took alot of crap from her, I think when they started having problems and turned their family into a money making machine and knew there were alot of problems in their marriage they should have stopped the show and focused on their marriage, if you let the problems grow and money is your main focus instead of your family, you went too far. It did not take him long to go out and find other women and I believe she had her own thing going too. You have to work on a healthy marriage for your kids to grow up healthy in the physical and the mental. What is going through these kids minds now that they see their parents come and go in their lives? Money does not always buy happiness and Kate seems addicted to the money end and John got sick of it, I blame both of them, the show started out great, in my opinion it went on too long and both lost sight of family and money was their first prioty, Shame on the both of you.

I TOTALLY agree with you, noone held a gun to his head to get married at 22 nor did they to have all those children. They could have had a selected reduction in embryo but chose as a couple not to. Kate is the better parent by far, I wonder how far anyone elses nerves would go trying to keep organised and on track with so many children. I know from experiece, I have to delegate to my husband as he is a great dad but totally relys on me for the organization of our house hold. I think she deserves much more respect then she gets - Jon is embarassing himself - the difference between the two - she spends her time away working to provide for her children, he spends it out drinking,smoking ans entertaining young girls: who has their head on straight her? GO KATE!!!!!

Aside from being famous, Jon and Kate are also parents of multiples. They (POM) have a higher rate of divorce perhaps because of the stresses involved in parenting 8 children. Add to that the stress (both good and bad) of sudden fame. It is not surprising that they sought divorce. Maybe neither one is to blame.

I don't think he is having a midlife crisis - he just has been thrown some huge curve balls in his young life already and everyone handles things differently. I am not saying he has made some of the best choices lately - but all of us have made bad choices throughout our lives from time to time. It's called life. His life just happens to be in the media so he is judged more.

Is'nt He even a little embarrassed???? (both of them should be for the circus they created). John just needs to knock his crap off and grow up! Kate needs to stop going from talk show to talk show whining. The best thing would be to just be as normal parents as they can be, and the vultures will go away...DUH!!!!
