One mom told her daughters "If you kids don't stop fighting, I'm going to stop this car right now and leave you here!"...and did it, literally! What's the most extreme punishment you have ever given your children?

My child isn't old enough for extreme punishment but I'd have no problem stopping the car and "dropping" them off when they're older. I mean I of course wouldn't leave them alone but I think empty threats are just that, empty. So I may not be using the leaving you hear thing. I have said if you don't stop we're turning this car around and going home and have actually turned the car around and gone home.
What she did may be wrong but being a single mother of two teenage boys I can sympathize with her. I don't condone child abuse but I can easily see how it can happen. My boys are so selfish and disrespectful, not only to each other but me as well (especially me). There have been times I have made them go outside and locked the door just so I could get a grip on myself before I did something I might regret. I have tried everything I know to try and bring more harmony between us and nothing has worked. Honestly, if I could afford a reform school I'll send them off in a second. I think they need more of a male disciplinarian, because they look at me as a joke when I try to correct them, but unfortunately I haven't found anybody worth sharing my life with that would be a good influence. So all I can do now is pray and do the best I can and hope they improve as they get older or move out!
