I can also recommend a Miracle Blanket. It will calm a crying baby, just by swaddling them. Check me out. I used it on Iyana who was just 1 month old at the time.

All new moms must have help!!! and as far as items....a bouncy seat and swing, motion makes newborns comfy, they're used to being inside of us moving all the time!!!
