A "friend" of Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley, says she has video of her snorting cocaine at a house party. http://www.momlogic.com/2009/03/ashley_biden.php

What do you think about this? Is it her responsibility to be a role model because Dad is in the public eye?

I have never known a truly happy kid to get into drugs of any kind. I just feel so sad for her. Something drove here there, and it isn't necessarily her dad's job. There are plenty of celebs' kids and politicians' kids who are just fine.

She is an adult and it is sad if this is true. You would think anyone with association to a public figure anymore would really watch themselves!

That is horrible.

I wouldn't doubt it if they set her up to do that and then snapped pictures, if those are friends who needs enemies, honestly!!!!

Again, she's an adult. And probably rebellious because she didn't choose to be in politics. Judge the VP on his merits. Which would just lead me to the discussion about the standards to which we hold our elected officials.

I don't think it is her responsibility to be a role model or anything of the such but i do think she should be smarter to know that because she is the VP's daughter she will be filmed doing anything scandalous. and that she probably doesn't have any "friends" anymore. someone will always be out to get her. sad.

I don't agree with doing coke, i never have but I know a lot of people try it when they are young.

Sometimes no matter how involved a parent is, their children make mistakes. Its easy to judge when you have a two year old, and you see Bristol Palin pregnant and Ashley Biden snorting coke. Teens are a challenge, and most of you will learn that when you have them.

I don't think it is very respectful of her parents, escpecially since he is the VP. Not exactly what I would hope for as a role model!

Unfortunately, it is a sad testimony for her father.
