I like fact that you can find great deals on items that would cost more at other stores clearly. Especially, appliances for the kitchen. But as it is I am sure everyone can't stand the long lines and slow service. I live in a town were the next closest Walmart is 16 miles away. So on any given day its seems as if half the town is in Walmart. K-mart has suffered so drastically that sometimes I go there and pay more because there is no one in there and there are no lines and I feel that I am being charitable all at the same time. While Walmart is great it is no super substitute for a regular grocery store. Some items you just can't find it at Walmart. Like fresh herbs. They may have the basic herbs, sometimes, if they even have those. Being that its a small town it runs out of certain produce quickly. I went in and they had no zucchini, green onion or eggplant. Couldn't find something as common as basil. which leaves me making an extra trip to Albertson's to find all the things I couldn't find at Wallymart. And everyone knows that Albertson's prices are sky high.
The trick is to go about 8 am on Saturday or Sunday nice and clean.
