Farkakt means "messed up."

When my grandson plays at my desk, somehow my paperwork gets all farkakt.

Shlekht means bad.
So a shlekht person is a bad person, or a bad action.

I always enjoyed learning new words & phrases. I always tease my son that he has to be Jewish somewhere in his blood because ever since he was 4 or 5 yrs. old whenever he gets frustrated, worn out or ticked off he says "Oy". There are very few Jewish families in our town and none he went to school with or any we spend time with as a family. Anyway from my understanding Yiddish is kinda like talking to "Hillbillyese"-there are all kinds of phrases and sayings you won't hear anywhere else so it sounds like a lot of fun.

This would be more fun if in parenthesis you would put the phonic sound so it could be pronounced right as some of the words have such a strange spelling in English you'd have to guess at the pronunciation and the fun in learning new phrases & words in any language is being able to say them yourself.
