Having a teenager now, I can tell you that it's scary with the 'influence'. What I most want to know is, that she'll come to me no matter what. I say that a lot, but I'd love to know if she really will or not. I want to know if a friend is doing drugs, or alcohol, or pregnant, or if she's been put in an uncomfortable position, or offered cigarettes (or worse). I want to know it all, even if it'll scare me, I want to know that she can come to me.

I have a teen daughter who tells me "almost" everything. I'm concerned about my almost teen son who is very quiet...I'd like him to share more about his day at school. He's such a good boy and I don't pressure him because he's a happy kid :o)
