I would want to know if they truly knew that I was trying EVERYTHING I could to make them happy. Some teenagers don't understand what effort their parents are putting forth. That's what I would want to know.

I would want to know from my children @ the teen age ,if I've done a good job. If they are happy and what their goals and amibtions are.If there was anything they need they would let me know without hesitation

He's not a teen yet, but when TJ gets older, I want him to be able to talk to me about anything. Anything! I want to know if he's in trouble. I want him to know he can always come to me about anything, and if he's afraid to tell me when something bad happened, he can talk to his grandparents or his uncles first so they can back him up when I find out.

I would most want to know from my teenage son that he is being mature and making his own decisions about the choices he makes and not being influenced by someone else and that he'll always know he can come and talk to me about anything

He can send messages to me and maybe 'open-up' about his feelings. I want to know what makes him happy, sad, angry, etc. Feelings are hard to discuss with children. He may open-up this way.

Also, I think this would be cool to help my son increase his vocabulary. I know texting often causes us to use incorrect grammer, but I will insists he type correctly.

I want to know if they know they can talk about anything with me. I want them to be able to share all their thoughts and feelings with me.

He's says one day he'll tell me why he's had so much anger. His dad and I divorced when he was 5 and his sister was 3. We've all come a long way since then but I still see hurt in my sons eyes and I wish I knew why.

are you happy? if not, what is making you unhappy? do you feel you can trust me enough to tell me when you need help or have questions? are you following your dreams? your heart? your intuition? if not, what's stopping you? how can I help?

What I would most like to know about my teen is if he has ever done drugs. And I would also like to know if he is happy because he lives with his dad clear across the country.

I am most interested to know if my teen aged daughter is secure and confident in who she is and the direction she is headed. I just want her to be happy and know she's doing the right things.
