Would You Hire Yourself to Watch Your Kids?

We're so hard on the sitter -- some of us going so far as to install nanny cams. But would you pass your own test?

The warm feeling I get when someone is thoughtful enough to say thank you for having been helped far outweighs the empty one I get when there's no feedback at all.

Hmm. This is a tough one. There have definitely been moments when I thought that if my husband was watching me, he would probably fire me from mommyhood...Like the time I left my potty-training 2-year old in his room "a little bit longer" and I came in to a brown-colored, finger-painted masterpiece!
