Reply to Kerra. GOOD RETORT! Thank you!
Geri has some kind of dysmorphic problem,
And no, as a matter of fact, breast fed babies have less colic than bottle fed on the average.
If the person was definitely healthy and a very close friend or family member, I certainly would. In fact, I wish I'd had such a person nearby when my daughter was a baby, because my milk wasn't rich enough and we had to supplement with bottles. None of the formulas we tried really agreed with her tummy. (My father suggested that we get a goat, like his parents did when he was a baby, but we weren't really up for that!)
Don't forget that hiring a wetnurse was very common for many centuries!
I would. Only if I could not like I passed over or was very ill and he were in country where she/ he would stave. other then that I would die in horror to see MY baby bonding in that way with someone other then mommy.
I agree with mary it's just too personal...kinda like share you panties.
I can't see myself doing that. On the other hand, I would help someone else out if the need arose. I guess it would ultimately depend on the situation.
I have a problem with letting other people breast feed my kids. I know some people are okay with it, but for some reason I have a difficult time with that concept. There are reasons a mother would let someone else. But if I am physically able to, then only mamas boobies!
I would never have felt comfortable with that, the only way I could imagine was if I was in some situation where I couldn't nurse or had no access to bottles and baby was starving and I happened to have a lactating friend who could... but it's really not going to happen
I have 2 daughters, 1 granddaughter, and 1 son, and me. We all love twilight sooooo much!! I thought this game would be the link of getting everybody back togeather in one place to play this game. You see they all have there own lives but this wil...
How are you defining "big families" for the purpose of your study? In some respect that's all relative, as some people consider 4 kids to be a big family and others not till there are 8 kids, or somewhere in between.
