Hi everyone...I just discovered Momlogic and was excited to see Baseball Moms group. I have a 11 year old that absolutely loves baseball. He has been playing on a traveling team the past two years and he's the Catcher. I love to watch him!

I don't think so. If you look at it this way every sport has some sort of danger involved in it, My son broke his arm on his first day of try outs as a junior level player. But it didn't stop him. As soon as the cast was off he was ready to go. If you worry to much you wont enjoy the games. Remember this is for the kids not for the parents. They are the ones that have to enjoy it and are obviously willing to take the risk of getting hurt. Also now days their are so many rules in place to keep kids safe that it does give some comfort. I will be honest. I preferred when he played travel ball. It was played more like professional and the learned so much more. Any times you have questions feel free to ask. I have been around baseball little league, Senior and Travel Ball since he was 5 so hopefuly I hope I have a lot to help with.

Go Dodgers!!! :-) Do any of you feel like baseball is ever too dangerous for your little ones to play? I just know mine are going to get hit in the head with a ball!
