my best beauty trick is using my cooking oils as my beauty oils (organic evoo, organic coconut oil, and organic untoasted sesame oil-this also has natural sunscreen properties), i buy them in bulk when possible and just divi them up. One part goes to my kitchen and the other goes to my bathroom where i store them in dark glass bottles for everyday use (facial moisturizer and body as well). Good luck mamas!

My mother always told me
,Take care of your skin.
Wipe all the make-up off at night,
wash your face.
Blot dry &don't wipe it.
Put moisturizer on.
and go to bed!!

My best kept beauty secret is really a great trick for when you just don't have time to take care of those roots! We have all been there. Your getting ready to go somewhere you look in the mirror and OMG "when did that happen?" It's those pesky roots! They always seem to sneak up on us! I could have sworn I was good for another week, at the least several more days, but, low and behold there they are staring right back at me as if waving a bright red flag! What's worse, mine are of the dreaded "GRAY" kind.

Best solution EVER; it is FOOL Proof!! Use powder eye shadow! If your hair is brownish, than use the closest shade of brown powder eye shadow to match the rest of your hair. Works for Reds, and Blondes too. Apply with finger, q-tip, or shadow brush and blend over roots. You will be amazed. No greasy cover-up and your good till your next shampoo, it just washes down the drain. It will last until your next shampoo, so you can get by a few extra days!

ALSO: Extra double bonus here, regular Baby Powder is a great reliever when your in a hurry and your hair is slightly oily. Sprinkle a little baby powder on your palms and flip your head upside down and rub using your fingers thru your hair, you can even apply a little baby powder (yes, white baby powder) directly to the top where your roots are and the powder will absorb the execess oil in your hair, just brush thru or "fluff" thru with your fingers. Viola, your refreshed and good to go!

Q-tips - they are the ultimate beauty tool. I use them to clean up mascara dots and blend eye shadow. On one vacation when I forgot to pack my brushes, I used them to put on all my makeup.
