Ice Cream Scoop-Ahhh Bowl in Danvers

The annual Ice Cream Scoop-Ahhh-bowl part of Danvers annual Family Festival will present flavors from various local ice cream parlors for sampling (and over-indulgence). A $5.00 ticket allows you to sample one flavor from each of our ice cream sponsors. The venue will also include music from JW & the All Arounds, a brother band ( ages 8 &10) and a special appearance from the Boston based a Capella group, Overboard , kids’ rides, Charlie Fogarty’s Balloon Entertainment , build your own kites, free popcorn and wonderful Children’s Music.The Danvers Kiwanis Club will be serving up grill fare and beverages before you start in on the ice cream.
Annual Kite Festival: Lawrence Heritage State Park
Location: 1 Jackson Street, Lawrence, MA

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Kite Festival, a Family Fiesta, hosted in partnership with Family Services, Inc. and Lawrence Heritage State Park, is a family-friendly event that includes free kite-making and kite-flying at Pemberton Park, located on the banks of the Merrimack River. The event features lunch courtesy of the Summer Meals Program, face-painting, music and free trolley rides.
3rd Annual Sand & Sea Festival at Salisbury Beach
Location: North End Boulevard, Salisbury, MA
Saturday, June 27th 10:00 am — 10:30 pm
Sunday, June 28th 10:00 am — 5:00 pm
Get ready for a weekend of great family fun at Salisbury Beach in Massachusetts! The third annual Sand & Sea Festival at Salisbury Beach will feature the return of the Toyota US MotoSurf Sea Doo races and half-time freestyle show, the only event of its kind in Massachusetts. Featuring some of the nation’s top watercraft racers doing battle against one another while negotiating buoys and pounding waves on a quarter-mile ocean course, the races are as exciting for spectators as they are for participants! In addition to the jet ski races, the Sand & Sea Festival will feature activities for all ages, including a spectacular fireworks show, live music by the James Montgomery Blues Band on a beachfront stage, popular Beach Pizza Eating contest and Pet Parade, street performers, amusement park rides, an interactive marine aquatic program, beach sports activities and demonstrations, and much more. Food concessions and expanded arts and crafts exhibits will line the Salisbury Beach Center.
