New England has a spectacular geologic history of colliding continents, erupting volcanoes, and roaming dinosaurs. Charles Ferguson Barker, geologist and author of the children’s book Under New England: The Story of New England's Rocks & Fossils, will introduce young explorers to the rich geological landscape of the region. The Boston Common Frog Pond and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce the arrival of the Americana Carousel at the Frog Pond this season. Ride the gorgeous carousel with 20 horses and animals, including a frog and a tea cup! Rides are just $3 and run daily (weather permitting) from 11am-9pm.

Andover's spring event features carnival rides, games, face painting, candy, balloons, a variety of food. Clown Town is the biggest fundraiser for the Andona society, with profits allocated to a variety of youth and education programs in town.
