Faneuil Hall Marketplace Street Performer Festival
Location: Quincy Market Colonnade, Boston, MA

Prepare to be awestruck by New England's finest variety and musical performers as Faneuil Hall Marketplace kicks off the 2009 Street Performer season! Magic, juggling, acrobatics, wirewalking, clowns, mimes, comedy, musicians…and more! Street performances scheduled every hour throughout the Marketplace.
Special Guest Performers:
USA Breakdancers: Saturday, May 23 from 6:00PM - 7:00PM
Aerial Angels: Sunday, May 24 from 5:00PM - 6:00PM
Special Guest performances will take place in the West End performance area located in between Historic Faneuil Hall and the Quincy Market Building.
Newburyport Spring Fest
Location: Downtown Newburyport, Newburyport, MA, 01950
Date: Sunday, May 24, 2009 and Monday, May 25, 2009
Hours: 10 am - 5 pm

Cost: Free
Head down to historic downtown Newburyport for their annual Spring Fest. It is a two-day festival featuring music, art, fine crafts, food from Newburyport’s best restaurants and a Kid’s Korner featuring entertainment for children and families.
Don't miss the live Entertainment on both days on the Market Square Stage (between 1:00 – 4:00 PM), along with parades and sing-a-longs at the Kid's Korner.

Tanglewood Marionettes Presents 'Sleeping Beauty'
Amazing Things Arts Center, 160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA, 01702
Date: Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 2 PM
A classic tale which appeals to children of all ages, "Sleeping Beauty" begins in King Felix’s great hall for the christening of Princess Aurora. The party goes awry when the wicked witch arrives and curses Princess Aurora. Will the curse come true? Will someone with a “true heart” appear? You will know when you see Tanglewood Marionettes’ presentation of this best-loved tale.
In this retelling, a painted story book opens to reveal each scene. Beautifully hand-crafted marionettes are brought to life by a master puppeteer as the dramatic events unfold.
