The righteous cry out,
and the LORD hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all.
Psalm 34:17-19 NIV
Hello All!
Lately I ran into some financial problems (as we all have) and for the past few days I was really worried about how I can pay certain bills and pay back people I owe. Yesterday morning after I viewed my on-line account, I was put in such a rotten mood, I then realized that, that was the devil trying to destroy my spirit and get the best of me. I started to pray at my desk asking the Lord to keep me faithful, I prayed all day at my desk, with my prayer partner, and in my car. I read scriptures through email, and in my book and a magazine. All during my 8hr work day, I was determined to get Gods attention and made time for his word, with distractions and all, it was like a 24hr praying marathon...Lol.
Every morning I get daily scriptures Emailed to me, and the first thing I do is read them. Well this morning I read some along with the one above and that one really opened my heart, and God told me that he will ALWAYS provide and meet my needs, I just have to keep my faith in him and trust that he has it covered. After reading that I SOO hesitantly checked my bank account, and you know what? The Lord provided me with an unexpected deposit... Praise God! Almost in tears I told my prayer partner about it, and realized that God wanted me to share this with you all. He wanted me to tell you that no matter how hard it gets, no matter how dark your future looks "Don't Give Up".
Don't give up on his word or on he's promises for us. Give your hardship to Jesus, like the song "Jesus Take The Wheel" let him drive away your issues, and you'll start to see his miracle's. No matter how small or large he's at work, and trust that he will never leave you and he'll always provide. When you feel like he's not hearing you call, do all you can to get he's attention, and soak in his word.
