Keep up the comments coming, ladies!

I hope everyone has received her book by now and is reading away. I will post more questions soon, but I wanted to take it a little slower at first to be sure all of us can participate in the discussions at the same time.

After you read through Chapter 3 please share your thoughts and responses with everyone.

Thank you so much for you participation ladies! As I state in one of the above discussions, I'd like to take the discussion a tad slower until all of us receive and have a chance to begin reading our books.

I've posted some general information and questions to keep in mind while reading, as well as a discussion post specifically for chapters 1-3. ***Please refrain from discussing any further content so that we don't spoil the book for the ladies who haven't read beyond those chapters.***

I'm new to book clubs so I don't know exactly what to say. However I enjoy reading THE DEATH AND LIFE OF GABRIEL PHILLIPS the book has a good flow (if that makes any sense), I find myself having a hard time putting it down. Language is a little rough but its a good book.

One thing I would recommend to all of us as we read is to not only talk about the book (under MissionChik's direction), but to leave reviews! As an author I can tell you it makes an impact. Very few people want to hear what the editors or publicists are saying, but they do want to hear from the reader who takes time to comment. They know it's the real deal. So, as you read books (whether here on CML book club) or the book you just picked up from the local bookstore, leave reviews. It makes a difference!

Yay!! Got my book today and i started reading it immediately...i'm on Chapter 9, I couldn't stop reading. Love it!!

Yeah, got my book yesterday......saw that it came in the mail while I was at work...once I got home started reading and didn't put it down til 130am (very late for me).......I'm lovin' it!
