I don't have my book, but had a note from Miriam, it's on the way!
Everyone have a great Thanksgiving dinner no matter what you choose.
For me, it's family & traditional, although we're trying a Turducken this
year. Can't wait!

Hello ladies! Our first book is THE DEATH AND LIFE OF GABRIEL PHILLIPS by Stephen Baldwin and Mark Tabb. I'm out of town for a couple of days and away from my list of the first 25 people to sign up with CML Book Club. I know we had about four remaining slots for the free book offer, so I believe everyone I've heard from so far has been included. If you haven't done so already, please add Miriam Parker as a friend. After she confirms, send her a private message including your name and address in order to receive the book.

I received my book yesterday, too! Let's go ahead and begin reading them. As you read, keep in mind aspects concerning the theme, characters, or setting that you find particularly interesting or unique. I'll post some formal discussion questions when I return home. In the meantime, have a Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy family time, and God Bless You!

Hey ladies, MissionChik is the facilitator, and I'm sure she'll check in later. She may be whipping up some potatoes or roasting a turkey right now. : ) The first 25 who gave Miriam Parker their address received (or will receive) free books. The rest can absolutely join in on the discussion! It may be that they buy the book (which is what usually happens in book clubs) or get it from the library.

Ok, I'm so completely confused...I saw somewhere where people were giving addresses but I wasn't sure if I was in the first however many it was and now, well, I'm probably too momlogic ignorant and plain ol' busy anyway. Hmph! Oh well.
