I exercise for 45 min at least 3 times a week. I go to pulmonary rehab. I also do some on my own at home. I think that is why my breathing hasn't gotten worse during the last 3 years.

Exercising five days a week is key for me. It can be 20 minutes. It can be high or low impact, but it keeps me healthy.

I'm working up to a mile on my swimming. I'm 2/3rds of the way there. My goal is to hit a mile in the next 6 weeks. How are your goals coming? I know that Christine would love to hear from you!

Hi Monet, It can't be fad diets or random programs. It's setting small goals and daily working toward those goals. Eating healthier. Walking or working out three to five times a week.

My daughter is 19 yeas old and needs to lose about 50 pounds. She has tried several different approaches, but none seem to hold her interest long. What have you tried that works.

I get to go back to the gym on Monday. I'm so pumped. I still have to wear the brace and can't do anything upper body weights, but I can do elliptical, cycle, swim, or treadmill. It feels good to know I'll get back on track. I've maintained during this last four weeks, but I still have 8 to 10 pounds to go. Ready, set, go!

Still recuperating. I'm maintaining my weight, but not losing as I sit for 22 out of 24 hours while this bone grafts. It's frustrating because I was making great headway, but I have to be patient. My biggest challenge is that I could eat all day if I wanted, but I'm trying to maintain a caloric intake that is reasonable and healthy, but a little less than normal since I have no activity. Taking lots of vitamins and calcium.
