This is my favorite holiday to spend with my children. The weather is generally perfect, and there are SO many kid-oriented activities available.
This year, we plan to hit a pumpkin patch and pick our own pumpkins. Any suggestions for me? I've heard great things about Berry Patch Farms!
We're also going to paint our pumpkins, as we've done in the past. It's much easier and safer for my little monkeys to paint rather than carve, and it's SO much fun.
We also may put together another Halloween Gingerbread house. We did that last year and it was a HUGE hit among the little kids. I regret not buying another one on clearance last year - that's where we got this original kit. Sitting in my pantry for a year didn't affect the quality much? It's not so much for eating, mostly for fun:
My twin club is having a trick-or-trunk party in the parking lot of the church where we meet - this is SO much fun for the kids, and the parents really get into it too. And there are always lots of Halloween celebrations all around town!
What are your plans?
