A great resource I've found for my boys to educate them on the computer is: Kid Pics, They teach it in kindergarten, and my sons love it, they can create pictures etc. using the mouse and print them too.

What I do is collect the odds and ends around the house. My kids much prefer to create on their own. We have big rolls of paper to create murals or whatever they want. Right now my kitchen is a craft area. My two older ones are making a doll house for their little sister.

Do not be afraid of markers or paints-just make sure they are washable. My girls loved finger paints-yes, they get messy but you should see their art now-wow. Plus it is a good way to express who they are-even if they are little.

Some of the easiest crafts are ones where you have all the supplies in the house! I'm not a mom but have lots of nieces and and cousins I need to keep occupied while visiting with their mommies and daddies.

What I like to do is go to my computer (or you could do this by hand) and search for 'printable coloring pages' in the search engine. You will find lots of them online and then I just print out a bunch of copies on my printer (these are usually just black and white coloring pages) so they don't fight over which ones they want and let them color away with pencil crayons or just plain crayons.

It only takes about 15 minutes to print them and lasts for hours!

You can't go wrong with paint. Check your local Wal-Mart craft dept. they have tons of things to paint. We recently Got wooden letters for each of the kids' first names and let them decorate them to hang on their bedroom doors. Another fun way to paint is to make your own puff paint with Elmer's glue, shaving cream and food coloring. Lots of recipes online. You could also make your own playdoh.

Hey all. My four year old daughter loves crafts. But as I'm not sooo crafty would love to get ideas on some crafts to do with her!!
