After researching numerous mother-in-law jokes, I came to the conclusion that they are all sad and humorless. What about good old-fashioned humor? Where are tongue-in-cheek puns? So far I came across more or less nasty MIL folklore.

Here is a funny story:
“My MIL was a pathologist; she conducted autopsies. One day, we went to her house for an outdoor party. She was using an autopsy table as her private bar. The table was tilted, so if any booze was spilled, it ran down the table into a bucket. We were mortified. I guess, it was the first party when almost everyone volunteered to be a designated driver.” per A.K. WI
