I've tried living cheaper since my early 20's, buying at the thrift stores for clothes and only buying food that was on sale. I was really good at being thrifty when my boys were younger and I would only clean with vinegar and baking soda around the house and make my own laundry and hand soaps. I need to get back into some of my practices because of the economy.

I love to coupon and love to to see others save and get in on coupon deals too. Couponing is the only way I have been able to be a SAHM to my four kids. My husbands military career has been very demanding and couponing was my answer to prayer, making a way to supplement our familys income. I have coupon giveaways each week inviting someone to "come go with me" and get in on good deals with coupons at stores that have nationally advertised sales(target, walmart, cvs, walgreens, riteaid etc.) I also give away free item coupons and hard to find/high value coupons making items free or pennies.
My blog is also a countdown to my husbands upcoming 20 yr. military retirement(a day I thought would never come) My coupon deals allow me to send care packages to deployed soldiers as well.
