My favorite Christmas memories are from years ago when I was a child. Christmas Eve we traveled to grandma and grandpa's for finger foods and lots of cookies that grandma made. After a short time Santa would arrive and give out gifts all while sitting by the fireplace. On the way home I would lay in the back seat and watch the sky for Santa and his sleigh. Christmas day I couldn't open gifts until my dad went and got my Great-grandma. She would bring the BEST homemade chocolate chip cookies you've ever tasted. The kind that are crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle. Those were the days..

I dont have the Pictures on this laptop. But I can tell you about my Favorite Christmas Memory.
It was my Daughters 3rd Christmas she was three years old. And My sons 2nd Christmas he was almost two. She wanted a Baby and a Stroller. And she wanted her baby Brother to have Bob The Bulder Blankets and Toys. She got so So So excitied when she seen that she got her dolls. But when she saw what her Baby as she reffered to him as at the time got, she was so happy she was hugging him and she really cryed, She kept saying see mommy I told you I asked Santa to do that, And I knew he would. It was sooooo Cute. Ill forever remember that.It touched my heart to see the love she had for him. And I knew right then and there , That Being a mom might be hard at times, But its the Biggest Ever....

Every year I give each of my Goddaughters an ornament for Christmas. It seems like a better idea than a toy they will grow tired of. When they finally are out on their own, decorating a tree is done!!

Every year we participate in the local Animal Shelter's fundraiser "Pet Photo with Santa". It's a family tradition we never miss. It's fun, for a great cause and we use this as our annual holiday card each year. This particular year we had a new family member join in. In November, we rescued the golden retriever on the left.

Thes are all my girls. We were getting ready to march in a parade twirling. We have a great time together. These are the times we giggle and enjoy out time together.

I have the best time when my brother and his children visit. After all, Christmas is about children and watching their face light up as they see the tree and open their gifts. Just sharing the holidays with them and their smiles make the holidays worthwhile.
