I'm working with the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) & started this group to open up a conversation on helping your children (& Moms too!) develop healthy, beautiful smiles!
The AAO is a resource for parents to learn more about orthodontic treatments, and offers a Find an Orthodontist Locator service. Why should you choose an orthodontist? -- they receive an additional two-to-three years of specialized education beyond dental school to learn the proper way to align and straighten teeth.
I have lots of information to share (oral care tips, sports safety, braces-friendly recipes, etc) - so ask away! :D
In addition to braces - there are a lot of other topics (from brushing & flossing to the Tooth Fairy!) that we could all use advice from other parents on... so please feel free to start a thread on whatever you want to talk about!
