Thanks for checking the group out. I hope this group becomes a place where you can vent, share advice and make new friends.
I'm a coastie wife and mom of two. We just moved back to Jacksonville this year and are enjoying our time near some family! In the mean time it would be great to make some new friends as well.
We live on the North side. Where are these groups for Jax mommies?! I've been looking. Maybe in the wrong places. Thanks for the recommendation on the Habitat Store. We are headed there today. I have a zoo membership (with a free guest admission) if you ever want to go. What are area are you in?
Two great sites you should check out for groups are www.meetup.com and search jacksonville stay at home moms. There are a few moms in your area (and there are I think one or two other good groups). The other site you should go to is www.firstcoastmomslikeme.com. It's all local Jacksonville moms and they have at least one group for northside mommies.
With god as my witness, I will never eat dirt again!
LOVE aunt Pittypat. Here's some trivia - this movie is the only popular Civil War movie without a single battle scene.
I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing.
