Robert Janjigian is the fashion editor of the Palm Beach Daily News and has been writing about design for more than twenty-five years.

Gorgeous photo, looks to be in West Palm. Great groupings in one large space. Not so sure on the metal leg tables galore, but eh, who am I. I'd like to see pics of Nancy's house..... I splurge on good blankets and sheets. I like sheets that are soft and beautiful and color coordinated. In fact I will pass up a good deal on some great sheets because they are the wrong color. My family makes fun of me but I don't want sheets or blankets in my room that don't go with my pink and green color scheme. I also splurge on beautiful vases and good silk flowers. They have to look real and be very beautiful or I won't buy them. I am lucky that I have found some very expensive items to beautify my home at thrift stores because I don't really have the budget for luxury items.

Curtains. The right curtains can turn a room into a place you want to be in. Sometimes you just have to splurge on something that will brighten up your room and for me, that's curtains.
