Great questions, Ellen. I started last night. So far, I find the writing style captivating because of the use of detail. Reminds me of Stephen King, creating a different world for the reader to inhabit.

You are all welcome. Here are some questions to consider as you read the book:

Why does Laura Rider instigate the email exchange between her husband and Jenna?
Is Jane Hamilton making a statement on the current state of our society? If so, what is it and why?
How has email changed the nature of courting?

Super excited about this. What will the book clubs be using for getting their books? I can't really afford to keep buying, so I'm wondering if anyone's tried a rental type service? I've heard of this Netflix-type thing called BookSwim where you can start renting 3 books for about $10 a month....has anyone tried this or something similar? Feedback would be amazing! TIA!
