MONDAY 3/9: MLC Coffee Break with Sandy of Momisodes

Today's Momlogic Coffee Break is with Sandy, author of Momisodes. Sandy and her husband (Dadisodes) have a 3 year old daughter (Babisodes). Sandy worked for years as a traveling neonatal nurse- moving, saving babies, and holding her bladder for endless stretches of time. Now she's unpacked her bags in Boston, and occasionally uses her stethoscope to plug her ears as a stay-at-home mom.

Sandy's most embarrassing mom / dad moment?
While in labor, my ob/gyn yelled, "Vacuum!!!" and at least 12 strangers ran into my delivery room and saw e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.

Biggest surprise about parenthood?
The absolute lack of time for hygiene.

Her best advice for other moms / dads?
As soon as you see 2 pink lines, go to sleep. You'll need it.

I so remember this moment....4 times!!!! You'd think shame would be obliterated after the first one...LOL! Thanks for bringing back warm memories that are now laughable and no longer embarrassing! Your story is so universal....Welcome aboard!!!
