im new on here but i am sorry for ur lost i lost a little boy also and i miss him very much but you can take day by day i know its hard god bless you and ur family .

James Micheal was born on July 24th 1995 and I had him for 7 wonderful years of his life,He turned 8 on his brithday of 2003 and was and the following month was going to start second grade on august 6th ,it was on a friday and after school he went to momaw house for the weekend,On monday august the 11th he went to his second day of school,he got home around 3.00 that day and he wanted to go with his dad to go to a friends house that he wold withto see if they could get her van fixed,well there was a 4 year old boy that lived there ,and their trailer was closed to a cannal,well about 5,30 both boys came up missing,I was told that e and the 4 year wonder off, and I left and went to a friend and called my mom and his dad dad to let them know that he was missing I got to where they wereat and my heart shattter seeing all the cops and other people ,and then I was asked alot question about where he would go I aske d them if they checked the cannal and they told me that they were told they did not go by it , well at 7.30 it got busy with cops and people wanting to help and around 11.30 they bought drives in to check the cannal,well drivers went down at one end well a seach was in aboat with 2 drives trying topick up on them, around 2.40 3.00 am they found the 4 year old ,and a few min later they found jamesmicheal,that was a was a bad day,So I understood how moms feel when they lose a child,.

Peggy,
Bless you, woman! You do NOT have to be strong for your daughter, or your son and d.i.l.!! They know you're hurting, and it's ok to let it out!
My support group had an Open House this last Sunday, for "new" Moms, and I left with a heavy heart. There were Moms just 5-8 weeks into this, yet they were reaching out for help! Let your family and friends help you! Don't try to be strong, when you have the people who love you most to lean on. They want to help, and I really believe it's helps them to be open with their grief.
I hope your health is improving. You really have a full plate right now. I will be praying for you, for your family, and for your lost boys.
Peggy, where do you live? I hope you have nice weather today. This day is difficult enough.
The Lord is with you today, give your pain to Him, and let Him carry you through the day, the next weeks, and months to come.............
We'll be here too.

To all you wonderful people,
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. I closed off from the world when Dan my oldest son passed,trying to hide my pain and I Thank God for this wonderful group,to talk and know that David is with Dan ,I know that the Angels are holding them.
It was just so unexpected
David graduated from college,just started a job doing DNA on plants,just redid his home,working on the house for over a year and had a beautiful woman in his life. He never got in trouble growing up,a smart boy,who was a good man
My kids thought it was best to have a get together last tues and it was too much for me,too soon
I had a heart attack on wed,I am getting stronger and now I guess I can deal with the things that need to be done.
My daughter is the baby of the family and so close to her brother ,I called them the twins,she is comming in from NY and I know I have to be strong for them and my son and daughter-in law
I am having a service today for my baby.
I am so glad to have a wonderful place to go and share my thoughts,cry when writing and get the support I need.

Boy, Denise hit it right on the head. The group no-one wants to join. It seems like yesterday and yet like a lifetime ago. I lost my son when he was born on Jan 14,1987. This year was very difficult, some are harder than others. I wasn't even thinking about it but was very down and sad and my friend put it together for me. Every yr even if he's not on my mind it's like my body remembers and jolts me into my feelings. He name is Nathaniel Scott. They couldn't tell me why he died except that he only had 2 veins instead of 3 in the umbilical cord and my placenta was small so he was very tiny even at 2 weeks early. I got to hold him but not as long as I wanted.... I closed off to everyone in world, I don't really remember much about what I did for a while. I cannot imagine the heartache and devistating pain that Peggy is going through. It makes me sick just thinking about a parent losing a child not once but twice. I guess I just needed to put this out there. I'll be back. Thank you all for sharing.....

Ahhh, the Club no one wants to join. Though, once you've been through this, everything else seems so trivial. We lost our middle son, (of 3 boys) Drew, on Oct, 8, 2005. He was 16.
I belong to a wonderful Christian support group for Mothers who have lost a child. I feel so fortunate to have this group.
Am I reading the post from Peggy correctly? Did she just lose a second child?? I feel sick just reading it. I can only imagine how she must be coping. My other boys are my solace. I will be thinking of her, and praying she can find some peace in her life.
