I called both of my sisters and asked them if they had their mammograms scheduled yet. One already had hers and the other will make her appointment to have hers done.

Sent a donation to Susan G Komen in honor of my nieces and sent them a not encouraging them to get mammograms. They are young and I want them to get in the habit of yearly mammograms now.

I signed up the women in my family and my female friends to an email service that gives monthly notifications to do your monthly self exam!

My mom and I scheduled our mammograms at the same time for the same day. We're making a day out of it and going to lunch too.

We went to a local event at a football stadium to promote awareness, and we also participated in a community walk.

Breast cancer runs in my family so I forced my mom (kicking and screaming.. there were bribes of chocolate involved) to go get a mammogram!

We passed the message of breast cancer awareness, hope and strength through Facebook. A pink baloon floated to me and on to my friends carrying the message to my friends and family. The ammount of people it visited was enumumerated to be 17895 when it got to me!!

I bought and wore pink for the cure items

There were several foods available in special "pink" packages, one was Macaroni & Cheese that donated to the cure with purchase. I stocked up on them.

My family & I did Race For the Cure! We did the Family Fun Run & had a blast while helping spread the word!

I participated in teh Race for the Cure and have been buying items that support Breast Cancer Awareness. My husband even got involved and purchased the NFL hats that have pink on them for awareness.

I've talked with my friends and family about breast cancer, various breast cancer awareness promotions, and the importance of awareness and education among men and women. We've also talked about health, prevention, self exams, doctor checkups, and mammograms. I actually found out about a new type of mammogram now available at some places that a girl friend of mine just got. Her doctor had literally just gotten it days before her exam. She said it was quicker and there was less discomfort compared with previous mammograms. I've also sported my pink ribbon gear and worn pink.

With god as my witness, I will never eat dirt again! LOVE aunt Pittypat. Here's some trivia - this movie is the only popular Civil War movie without a single battle scene.

I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. -- Agatha Christie
