So, did you find yourself caught up in the New Year Resolutions trend? With the state of our economy & the new President about to take office many are feeling a little on the fence & "hoping" things will improve.
If you are resolving to do better this year ~ whether it's with your clutter, finances, weight or 'me time' be sure to consider the following:
~ be specific (turn "I want to get organized" into "I want to have an organized pantry so meal time is smoother")
~ look at the habits that have created the current situation & determine what you can adjust to reach your goals (if you want the kitchen counter to be clear of paperwork determine what your entire family is doing to create the piles - then implement a new location to put the papers & change the habit from the counter to the new 'system')
~ every day is a fresh start to try - try again!
~ be kind to yourself! (I always tell my clients when we begin a project "it didn't take you a weekend to get into this situation, it's not going to take you a weekend to get out")
Hope this helps & be sure to let the group know how you're coming along on your improvements!
