Real Stories. Real Advice. Real Moms.

The 4th of July has passed, and that means one thing -- back to school is right around the corner! Get the kids up and out of bed with an iHome.

We're giving three lucky moms an iHome iP9 system (valued at $99). The iHome iP9 radio is great for parties, but is also the hot back to school must-have. It's an innovative clock radio for iPhone & iPod. The iP9 allows you to rise and shine to your custom ipod playlist, AM/FM Radio or Buzzer. In addition, the iP9 works as a charger while docked for your ipod or iphone and has a full function remote control so you are always prepared.

Family, Friends, lots of outdoor games - water balloons being the kids favorite, the pool is open sign, good food, cold drinks, plenty of gas for the barbecue (my husband has been known to forget to check and we have run out and then we take then neighbors and go to each of their houses to see who has the most in their tanks because usually no one is open to get a refill of course!), and good selection of music (and my brother-in-laws guitar if he's not working)

Laughter. Lots of laughter. We have to get the family all together telling all the old family stories and jokes that make us remember all the funny things from the past till present that make us a family. It brings about smiles and laughter. Then we create some new memories, more laughter, and stories to share for the next summer BBQ.

Well, food of course, lots of food. We all have fun with water balloons, water guns, swimming in the pool, and having all the family and friends around.

Number 1. family and friends. Skateboards to sit on and ride down the driveway. God knows I'd break my neck if I stood up. Burgers, hot dogs and covered dishes to share. Horseshoes and volleyball games for the young and old. Photo albums from past years can really bring a laugh.
