Why are you having a home birth? Uh, 'cause I want to. It's my choice and not one I've made lightly so don't question me. I know what I'm doing and I'm happy about my choice.
By the way, I just had my baby last Monday and had her at home and it was the best choice I've ever made.

I am pregnant with number 6 (who is on his way despite my IUD...a determined little soul! grin) and people can be ( and often are ) REALLY rude about it. Yes...I know what causes pregnancy. I have taught childbirth classes for years. What they are really saying is "Why do you have so many kids?" My answer?? I am pro choice, I do use birth control, and now that I am pregnant anyway, my choice is to have this baby. I love my family, and this one will be no exception!

Actually I even have a better one. Yesterday, this guy had the NERVE to ask me if I was having twins!!!!!! Pls tell me when that was ever an appropriate comment to make to a perfect stranger? I think my look at him said it all!
