I'm always traveling so my cell phone is the best because it's not extra for long distance. That and short e-mails are great.

We have VOIP on our home phone and free cell-to-cell so we call when we can and don't worry about the high price tag of long distance that we used to have to worry about in the olden days.

When I just want to update people, I use either Facebook, Twitter or email.

Email, facebook, these are the cheapest ways to stay in touch.

we started texting.

The internet of course! It's so easy to talk to anyone anywhere over the internet. I just finally got a Skype account even the other day so this would be great to use with it.

I stay in touch on Facebook, mostly. I also do alot of texting and IMing. I don't own a web cam, but my daughters father does, and I would love for her and him to have an actual video chat. It would make things work so much better than calling on the phone.

I keep in touch by sending emails and pictures by email to my family.

I just had a new GreatGrandaughter born yesterday half the country away from me...how nice it would be to be able to see her growing and hear her first words...My children and Grandchildren are spread out all across this great country and I think this would be a great addition to the Facebook and emails we presently use to stay in touch. Of course we also use phones but this would add the visuals which are sometimes so hard to imagine.

I usually send pictures, e-mails or messages on myspace/facebook ect.... For my family and friends that don't use the computer I send letters and pictures or a quick phone call as often as I can....I have a busy lifestyle with 3 kids and try my best to stay in touch.....it just never seems to be as often as i'd like but I do my best.

I have family scattered all across the country now, especially the brothers I raised who now live out in California-so it's very important to stay in touch! We used messenger services online, email and we have a family blog that's private for us to share what's going on with each other.

This camera could kick us up a notch lol

thanks for the chance. I had trouble logging in but know that I have been a member here for about 2 months..hmmm lol
