Hello everyone. I am new here but not new to scrapbooking. I have been scrapbooking for 10+ years and love it!

Hi everyone. I'm new to scrapbooking, but have set a goal for myself to get 3 done this year. 1 for each child and 1 for me. I am able to get supplies at cost through my business, but have trouble getting started. I have resisted this trend for some reason, but always think all the ideas I see are so cool!

I have just come back from Irian Jaya,Indonesia. I saw some people used "Koteka". It was interesting experience. Now my vacation is become scrapbooking heritage.

Hi Amy! I would suggest that you organize all your photos in some kind of order before you start, then think of a theme (birthday, xmas, whatever) it's allot of fun but can get overwhelming if you aren't organized... Enjoy!

Hi everyone,
I'm sort of new to this group and I'm curious if any of you do digital scrapbooking? I switched to digital last year and love it so much that I am now a consultant for Heritage Makers. It was just featured on Oprah's favorite gift list too. As a busy mom of 3, I was able to create 5 digital books last year compared to 1 traditional scrapbook in previous years. Anyway, I am loving it and wondered if anyone else in this group is interested in digital discussions. My website if anyone is interested is http://www.brightlizard.com/storybook

Hello Shawna,
Here is a great website to enhance your scrapbooking. I have no idea who this gentleman is, but I go there when I want "titles" to my pages. It is www.dennydavis.net It is SO great! I hope you find this helpful.

Another "tip" that I have, since you said you were looking for some, is that when you do your journalling, journal "to" your children. Not, "Easter, 1999." Instead, "Bobby, look how cute you look in your Easter outfits, 1999." It is more endearing. It's like you are writing "to" them, which you are. So that we can record our thoughts and feelings for future generations to read. It's a gift to our families, I believe. Good luck!
