Hello all. My name is Sarah and I'm a "newly" single mother. I have lots of help from friends and family but I don't have many single mother friends who I can go to for empathy. The most difficult thing I have found about being a single mother is the assumptions people make as to why I am one. I get exhasuted trying to explain to strangers why I had to leave. I do not regret my desicion by any means at all, it was a difficult one but it had to be made for the sake of my son. I suppose I'm on here for moral support from mothers who have been through what I'm going through. Hope you all have a wonderfull day/night :)

Hey my fellow single mamas!

I was fortunate to have friends who helped me out with handmedowns for my daughter when she was younger. This past February I created a site centered around the swapping concept and I hope you'll join our community -- I think you'll get a lot out of it. I've made some great new friends, saved a TON of money and been kind to Mama Nature all in one shot!

Hi~ I have raised my 10 year old alone his entire life, now I find myself in the same boat again. Pregnant with a little boy and this one will be raised alone too. Atleast this time I know what I'm getting into!

I just took my 2 year old to underwoodfamilyfarms.com this past weekend. He had a blast, went on pony rides and fed the animals. They have a free animal show 3 times per day too. If you don't have plans for the weekend you might want to check it out. Small fee to get in, bring baskets if you want to pick food...u pay for what you pick. There are wagons all over the property that you can put the kids into and pull them around. Very fun.
