Experience(either kids of their own or have nannying experience), patience, and fun to be around. If you can't feel comfortable and able to talk to someone who is watching your kids then how would your kids ever feel comfortable?

#1 the kids must like him/her #2 I must like him/her (and all that that entails) #3 trustworthy and experience

I like my sitters to be trustworthy, I am leaving them with my kids, they are my life. Caring, if I am not there I like to know that if my daughter cries she's going to be coddled just like I would and responsible
