My daughter is 9 months and I have to nurse her to get her to sleep again. Do I have to let her "cry it out"? Sometimes I get no sleep. Help!

For the past week some friends and myself have been throwing an amazing blog party to raise money for pediatric cancer. The Tuesday Blog Party was a huge hit and we have raised close to $3000. Now today a dear friend of Jess's (Tuesday's mom) put in a two new giveaways that will be going until Saturday the 16th. If you donate $30 to the Tuesday Fionna Whitt Memorial Fund (instructions to follow) you can enter for a chance at a 2 week long vacation in Florida. Janie has kindly offered her winter home for someone to spend two weeks just two miles outside of Disney. And is one entry isn't enough you can donate $10 more each additional entry you would like. So if you put $50 in that would be 3 entries at a chance for a vacation in Florida. And the second one is a 2 night stay at her mansion Bed and Breakfast. Yes, this house really is a MANSION! This vacation requires $20 for the initial entry and $5 for each additional entry. Please know that all the money you donate is going straight to fund pediatric cancer research and to help the Whitt's pay Tuesday's medical bills. This is a way for each individual out there to say they helped make a difference in pediatric cancer. Each dollar raised and sent to research is one dollar closer to a cure!
Now if you head over to Who Say's 8 is Enough you can enter to win one of these fabolous vacations.

Joining you all.. I am mom to Melly the Amazing Anti Sleeping Baby! She goes to bed at 7pm gets up at 11pm, 2am, and 5am before getting up for the day at 6am, she is a year old, this is getting annoying. She also only naps once during the day for no more than 30min yet she is not cranky or tired... BUT I SURE AM!

RP Mom--my son (who will be 4 in May) does the same thing! Sometimes I don't know he has sneaked into our bed until I wake up in the morning and see him there. I think my other kids stopped doing that because there was always a younger baby in bed already. My son is the youngest and literally has not been bumped out of the bed yet.

Hi Jill!!

I have a question for you! My son falls sleep in his room but comes into our room in the middle of the night/VERY early morning hours (3 am). He just wants to pop into our bed and cuddle. DH and I are just too tired to move him back into his own bed. Any thoughts on why he is waking up? He is 4 years old. THANKS!

:) RP MOM!!

Hi Jill,
I have a question for you. My son still needs me or my husband to sleep with him every night. My husband and I like to sleep with him but how do we start to break him of the habit? Won't he just one day wake up an say, "I want to sleep on my own?" Thanks
