hi everyone,

how is everyone's school year going? i've already had one problem with them wanting to go on "outings" to much, what's up with that?

Leslie how is your daughter? did she get her g-tube out?

This is a new growing website geared towards moms as well as married women.

Hi Everyone!!! It has been a LONG time since I have popped on. Sorry. We are off to a great school year, but SUPER busy!!!! Little guy is LOVING K and has an amazing teacher!!!! I hope you are all doing well and that the school year is kicking off to be a good one. Happy Almost Fall!!!!

hi i just joined and i am happy to finally find a place where i can talk, ask questions and get answers from mom who understand. well i have a great kid and her name is lexis, she is eleven yrs. old. Lexis was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder at age 3. to find out that she had autism was a little heartbreaking to say the least. but lexis is doing good despite her disability and i am her proud mommy. a lot of moms i meet on the web have no clue as to what i go through with her and the ones i know understand nada of autism. my family no matter how much i school them on why lexi does this or that differntly still look at me like "whats wrong with your kid and i hate that, but what can i do. well i've learned to ignore people like that and kept it moving. well thats all i have to say for now but i will be back to this group often.

Hi Shelly.....We have been quite busy here as well....Gavriella got her traech out almost 2 months ago and is doing great. We no longer have nursing care and she is getting her G-tube out September 17th. Hopefully she will learn to walk and talk this year and maybe just maybe get potty trained as she hates having a dirty diaper and takes them off when they are wet or messy. School wants her full time this year and she is only 3 and 1/2. I am so excited to get this school year started. My older daughter went to a great camp and got reading help and is now reading third grade sight words and she is entering the 2nd grade. So we had a very productive summer. Why is it that the kids seem to grow so much during the summer???? Or is that we just notice it more since we are with them more. It's great to hear from you as well and hopefully we will be able to get this group up and started again. Any way holla back at ya.

hey guys! im not on here much cuz the baby is now crawling and moving full speed ahead all the time so to keep up with everything you can read my blog @ http://highlyopinionatedmomof2.blogspot.com but to put it into a few sentences. Things are tough on Selenas end with us right now but my hubby has had enough and we have decided to file for full custody next month. we have a lawyer and paralegal lined up so we are jsut trying to build a case so things can progress quicker. im working on getting logs and whatnot done so we can have a file and so she cant say theres no evidence. most of our stuff we have recorded with the day and time anyways just am organizing and whatnot....hope to talk to you all soon and thanks again for all the support! really couldnt do it lately without it!

Hi everyone!! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer!! I have not forgotten you all!! Sorry I have not been on in so long. Summer school, camp, swim lessons, VBS and therapy keeping us busy. Then vacation for a few weeks. Never thought I would say this but I cant wait for school to start and for things to calm down LOL!! Hugs to you all

Hello Everyone, hope everyone is well. Haven't been on line for awhile been in the hospital and had surgery. Doing ok but cant sit for a long period or stand. Dang Kate... sounds unfun and an ongoing issue for you and hubby. It's a blessing you guys have so much patience. Summer is hard for me this year to do what i've done the past two summers, which is sit and watch the Big Brother feeds and basically "get fat". Not this summer... besides starting college last week, I'm trying to stay fit and keep up on the outdoor responsibilities and indoor as well. We have too much stuff! I don't know what to do with it and I don't want to put it all in a landfill. Today I spent 6 hours setting up an outdoor above ground pool for Breanna and I. It's only 12' x 33", just enough to cool us off on nice, sunny days. Amanda is moving back home permanently on Wednesday, July 1. I have to drive up to WWU to pick her up, which is just under three hours north. I pray she has everything packed. She will be in for a culture shock moving back home, lol! Breanna and I are busy bee's and eat much healthier than we did two years when Amanda lived at home still in high school. I am going to whip her butt in to shape! Maybe she can start running 5K's with me in September! Yeah baby! lol.. we'll see.

I hope everyone is enjoying the summery weather. Here in the Pacific NW we have been so blessed (lucky) to have such fantastical weather. This week is the same In the mid to upper 70's. I love it! Hugs and a good night to all!
