Hi everyone ,
I'm Traci . I have a chromsome deletion which is 18 p minus syndrome which caused my cleft lip & cleft palate, digestive issues, thyroid issues. So more likely I end up feeling normal when my thyroid levels are straightened out because when they are out of whack it affects me so much that I feel lke I'm going totally crazy.
Plus with my voice sounding so young due no idea why but many people think if I sound like a 10 yr old . I will have the mental capacity of a 10 yr old which is totally false but they still sometimes treat me as being dumb when I'm not so I can't stand to work out of home. So I try for jobs here online and just hope for the best .
It is tough being a mom when my issues can affect my son's relationships of making friends because sometimes people in montana have trouble getting close to people with disabilities no matter if they act like normal people who can walk/talk .

Hi Everyone, I'm Wendy. I work in the Accessibility Centre for my city and I'm have some disabilities (both physical and mental illness). Help other to understand that we are not disabled, but people with a disability. We are not less of a person than others and we can be and should be with our limitation (don't everyone have some limitation). The Accessability Centre is part of the Socail Service Dept.

I'm also on Accessability Advisory Committee and the Chair of Transit Sub-committee. and in our office and the committee(s) we work as team.

I have battled with fibromyalgia and pstd for more than 20 years, or since my diagnosis at least, a hospitalization with stevens johnson syndrome and depression, but hey, i have great kids, two awesome grand-daughters, and a positive outlook, a must have!!! good luck my friends!!!

Hello everyone!
I wanted to join this group because I am the Mom of a 10 yr old daughter and I am on SSDI for Bipolar/Anxiety Disorder and Chronic Migraines. I had to divorce her dad when she was a small baby due to his abuse...now over a year and a half ago he also quit paying his child support and lost all contact.
It's so hard sometimes raising my daughter all on my own...but I know she is here for a reason! I also have 2 grown sons and 6 grandbabies with another on the way!!
I live in Michigan. Lived here as a child and then in the south for 20 years now back here the last 10 because my parents live here and are getting older.

I was in a horrible car accident in 2002 from that I received a head injury, and many other injurys but most of all I suffer from PTSD and severe anxiety, I can't drive anymore, I look forward to meeting and getting and giving great advice here

I know now you can have a broken heart.
I never had and still don't have high blood pressure,diabeties but when my youngest son passed away on 3/21/09 ,my heart broke,found out I had a heart attack on wed,the 25th. A stent was placed on the 26th and home fri.evening around 9 pm. I am just trying to regain some of my strenght. I know I will ,with the help of God,family,friends and the wonderful people of Momlogic,I will get through this. I even talked to my Dr. about this site and he felt it was great to keep busy and connect with others.

I have bipolar/anxiety disorder with severe migraines. I am raising my 10 yr old daughter on my own and of course my ex husband quit paying his child support a year ago! I am on disability also.

Hi,
I am disabled and I try to keep busy at home,pain keeps me from doing what I love in life so I found another way of doing things differently. I shop from home,there are great sites ,the prices are good. I also spend time on my computer "visiting" ,I was a social butterfly,so with clipped wings ,I still make my rounds but on the computer instead of in person.
I loved working ,yes I was the person who put in 109 straight hours one week,it was averaging about 95 hours. I work at the house now,the only thing that really sucks is the pay,well,we can't have everything.
The thing I really don't like is being in pain everyday,you do get used to it . At least I can say I'm not alone ,pain is with me.
We all have to remember is we are not alone,laugh about the little thing in life and find a different way to go through life ,we're only here for a visit
