Hi,im new here.Im having problems with my inlaws. Its really petty but has become full blown into a problem.
I couldnt help but want to give a comment on Karens post(hope thats okay).Hi Karen, ive been in your situation.I believe that your friend truelly likes you.I believe shes expressing her feelings of hurt and insecurity. If she didnt like you she would express her jealousey in a sneeky vindictive way.In my case I remained friendly, kept quiet, but spent less time with the person and her family.Time really has a way of showing you what to do next.In time youll see if they are really worth it or not.

Dear Friendship Court,
My friend and I had a misunderstanding about 2 weeks ago( I apologized that night when I relized she took what I said wrong and have since said sorry a couple of more times). Which then led into a phone call where she was telling me everything that my daughter did or said seem to make her 2 daughters feel bad (my daughter skipped a grade) and she also went on to telling me how her family thinks that we act "Superior" to them. I feel she also was blaming me for her kids not behaving and her always being negative about their behavior. I was in information overload at the moment and didnt really respond to her venting. I guess my questions are now that it has been 2 weeks can I bring up how the conversation made me feel and talk to her about it? Also I am wondering if I am being petty by not really wanting to continue this friendship knowing how she and her family feels about me and my family. She is hoping that we can "be grown up about this and move on" but I am having a hard time. Please tell me what to do I am truly at a lost.

Karen

My favorite local museum is the Train Museum in Old Sacramento, CA. My oldest daughter and I love walking through there and both of us are just amazed at the enormous size of some of the trains!

I honestly do not like the war scenes but it definitely is a classic. And other posters are right. Carol Burnett is all I can think about when I see the curtain scene
